About the  ALL BASICS OPEN HOUSE ...

Over ten years ago Dave and Paul Yakuboff wanted to help educate their pellet stove customers on proper care and year end maintenance of their pellet heating appliance.  What better way to make it fun,  then a party at the end of the heating season.

Every year we empty our warehouse and set up a 20' x 30' tent to set up a PELLET  forum.  Manufacturers' representatives from both stove  to pellet fuel companies come and speak to our valued customers; both gaining invaluable information from each other.  Our technicians are also on hand to answer questions and share any manufacturers' updates on products.  We have a food buffet complete with beverages to help make it fun and a very worth while event.  With coffee and doughnuts in the morning, fresh hot popped buttered popcorn for the discussion sessions, chips, vegetable trays, hot dogs, chicken on the grill, and spiral ham on the smoker grill for lunch it  is an event that our regular customers look forward to year after year.

Customers then mill about our outdoor burn tent and mobile showroom trailer, talking one-on-one with manufacturers' representatives (or our own technicians) and viewing cut-a-way versions of different pellet stoves which aid in training proper maintenance; all of which help unravel any mystery surrounding pellet stoves.

 ALL BASICS OPEN HOUSE 2003...

This year's OPEN HOUSE started with rain and a power outage as a nearby transformer blew 10 minutes before we began.  But we quickly got under way with the aid of a generator.  And with God's help as the day continued the weather improved dramatically, with the sun coming out in the afternoon and sticking around for Sunday's event as well.  Here are just some of the pictures we took ...
