Dry Shelled Corn is now approved as a fuel for

Quadra-Fire Pellet Stoves.

Quadra-Fire stoves can burn 100% corn when operating continuously and not using the automatic ignition system. In order to take full advantage of Quadra-Fire’s automatic ignition feature, a 50:50 mixture of corn and conventional pellets is recommended. Mixtures up to 80% corn may be used, but automatic ignition may not occur, depending on the moisture content of the corn.
